TROUBLE CODES
- To
clear DTCs stored in TCM, disconnect negative battery
- cable for at least 20 seconds.

Connect jumper wire between TAT and GND terminals on
DLC
- connector.
See Fig. 4. Turn ignition switch to ON position. If DTC
- exists,
HOLD or O/D OFF indicator light will flash every 4 seconds.
- Long
(1.2 second duration) flash indicates first digit and short (.4
- second
duration) flash indicates second digit.
- ·
If more than one DTC exists, next code will be
displayed
- after
pause of 4 seconds. Lowest number code will be displayed first.
- DTCs
will be repeated. Once DTC is obtained, determine probable cause
- and
symptom. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION TABLE (Except
- 1996
MPV). For trouble shooting of DTCs, see DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. Turn
- ignition off and remove jumper wire.
